NMCE kicks off coffee contracts

Mumbai, April 2 The National Multi-commodity exchange (NMCE) on Tuesday introduced hereafters contract in Coffee Arabica and Coffee Robusta, besides other commodities, after receiving blessing of the forward committee (FMC).

The two new contracts in both the assortments of java will run out on July 15 and September 15, 2008 respectively. The bringing Centre will be the cardinal repositing corporation (CWC) storage warehouse at Bangalore, an exchange release said.

NMCE also introduced two new contracts for hereafters trading in chana on Tuesday which will run out on July 19 and August 20, 2008 respectively. The bringing Centre for the trade goods will be CWC storage warehouse in Delhi. The other trade goodss introduced from Tuesday are sacking, soybean oil, Curcuma longa and kilogram gold.

The adulthood day of the month for kilogram gold will be August 5, 2008 and its bringing Centres are Ahmedabad (basis centre), Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata and New Delhi. NMCE supplies e-platform for hereafters trading also in rubber, pepper, cluster bean seed, Castor seed, rape/mustard seed, copra, cardamom, turmeric, non-ferrous metallic elements (also called alkali metals), menthol crystal and natural jute.

The adulthood days of the month and bringing Centres for volition be as follows: sacking on July 15 at CWC in Kolkata, soybean oil on July 19 at Indore, Curcuma longa on July 19 at CWC storage warehouse at Erode and Nizamabad.
